Trails that benefit
REMBA has identified trail restoration projects in Trione-Annadel State Park as well as at Skyline Wilderness Park as the focus of their efforts, while SBMTV’s project encompass multiple restoration projects in their area. These include including the assessment and repair of front range Santa Barbara area trails heavily impacted by the Thomas Fire and subsequent debris sides; the restoration of the historic Santa Cruz (“Little Pine”) and Buckhorn Trails which have were damaged in prior fires; and working with the Los Padres National Forest to restore and optimize the Snyder Trail (“Knapp’s Castle”) which was bulldozed to create a fire break.
About the bikes
Two lucky winners will each ride away with one-of-a-kind Santa Cruz Hightower LTs--one in 'red fire engine' and one in 'white helicopter.' SANTA CRUZ BICYLES
Santa Cruz-based Santa Cruz Bicycles supplies the custom-painted Hightower LT CC Carbon framesets with 150mm of Virtual Pivot Point (VPP) travel, as well as Reserve 30 carbon rims, the carbon AM handlebars and Palmdale grips.
Scotts Valley-based FOX supplies the custom graphic edition 36 FLOAT Factory 150mm-travel fork, FLOAT Factory DPX Kashima shock, and Transfer 150mm dropper seatpost.
Petaluma-based White Industries supplies the MR30 cranksets, TSR+ chainrings, BSA 30 bottom bracket, headset and CLD+ Boost hubs.
Irvine-based Shimano provides XTR brakes, shifters, derailleurs, chains, cassettes, and rotors.

Back On Trail Drawing Rules & Regulations- The “Back On Trail” drawing is open to contestants world-wide.- The “Back On Trail” drawing is being conducted by the Redwood Empire Mountain Bike Alliance (REMBA) and the Santa Barbara Mountain Bike Trail Volunteers (SBMTV), both non-profit 501(c)3 corporations under the laws of the State of California.- There is no limit to the number of tickets one (1) person may purchase.- REMBA and SBMTV Employees, Board members and their spouses are not eligible to participate in this drawing.- Drawing tickets are $5.00 each. Drawing tickets may be purchased by credit card only.- By IRS declaration, ticket purchases for valuable prizes are not eligible for charitable tax deductions.- Odds of winning will depend on the number of tickets sold.-Tickets may be purchased by the following methods:,
On the internet at backontrail.org- All ticket orders must be received with full payment no later than 11:59PM on February 28, 2018.- Prize: Two prizes will be given away: One custom Santa Cruz Hightower LT in “Firetower LT” livery and spec, value estimated at $10,000 for each of the two winners.- Drawing will be held at Santa Cruz Bicycles, 2841 Mission Street, Santa Cruz, CA on March 1, 2018. The winner will be determined by random selection.- Winners need not be present to win. Winners will be notified by via phone and email within 7 days of the drawing, and will be posted on the backontrails.com web page.- Prize winners are solely responsible for all local, state and federal taxes, title, transfer fees, license duties, insurance and all expenses incurred in claiming the Santa Cruz Bicycle. The prize winners understand, acknowledge, and agree to hereby release and discharge REMBA and SBMTV, and any additional sponsors, their employees, agents, officers, directors and legal representatives and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses or expenses arising from or caused by the award of such prize, including, but not limited to the payment of any and all taxes that are due.- Prize winners agree to allow REMBA, SBMTV and campaign sponsors to use their name and likeness in post-campaign promotions without additional compensation.- Prize must be claimed within 7 days of drawing.
